About the Author

Kory Keefauver is a pastor, speaker, and recovery-minded disciple-maker with a heart for helping people experience real, lasting change. He currently serves as the Pastor of Discipleship at Redwood Chapel Community Church in Castro Valley, CA. With years of pastoral ministry and firsthand experience walking through recovery, Kory has spent much of his life helping people who sincerely love God but feel stuck in patterns they can’t seem to break.

His teaching bridges biblical truth with practical insight, drawing from Scripture, habit science, and lived experience to address not just behavior, but the deeper patterns of the mind and heart. Kory is especially passionate about creating safe, honest spaces where shame loses its power and people can take meaningful steps toward renewal—together, not in isolation.

Kory lives in California with his wife and 3 children and remains deeply committed to discipleship that leads to transformation, not just information. Renewal Path was written out of that conviction: that freedom is possible, renewal is for everyone, and God can redeem even our hardest stories for the good of others.
